Mouth guards: No red or white mouth guards. Must be worn at all times on the field.

​Eye Wear: Field Hockey goggles must have the front vertical bars and be permanently labeled with the ASTM2713 standard on them.  

*Eyewear is optional.

Cleats are recommended. Please no metal cleats. 

Shin Guards: Must be worn at all times. Please note that soccer shin guards that are inserted into the sock are not allowed. The picture to the right is an example of what field hockey shin guards look like.

Sticks: Outdoor field hockey stick general guidelines are listed in the chart. For additional help with the sizing of a stick, you can visit Play It Again Sports in Ellicott City or other local sports stores.  ​
